Simplified XM Cloud Navigation

XM Cloud Navigation is now restructured with quick access to any of the main tools. Organization, Projects, and Environments are all available easily within the switcher.

• Design library now provides access to Forms and Components
• Content Menu contains Media Library, Content Editor, and Explorer Tools
• All other tools are now within the setting section of the menu

If you are looking for Recycle Bin utility, follow the steps below to access the utility:

1. Navigate to Sitecore Cloud Portal
2. Select the XM cloud app and open the app from side drawer
3. Select settings from top menu
4. Select desktop from left menu
5. Select menu from bottom left
6. Select Recycle Bin utility

Session Traits in CDP and Personalize

Session Traits are aggregated storage of events data based on a particular calculation. Developers can use JavaScript to define the logic for these custom traits.

These traits can act as counters, aggregators, or collection of a set of events, such as page or product view events, allowing marketers to personalize based on aggregate data that is readily available.

Within Sitecore CDP, Session Traits enable advanced audience targeting and standardized rule-based data handling. On the other hand, Session traits within Sitecore Personalize enable enhanced decision-making based on historical data.

Change Background colours within Rich Text Editor in XM Cloud

An additional feature within RichText Editor allows editors to specify the colour of the text background, allowing greater flexibility in presenting content as needed.

Content Hub administration becomes easier with newly added micro-features

Setting up Mass edit pages for applications is now more streamlined with the capability of specifying attributes to be edited or not to be edited in bulk.

Creating another entity is the same workflow by keeping the dialogue open by default and enabling users to quickly create content or any other entity, thus streamlining the creation process.

Structured folders for download actions. If you have worked with Content Hub and used the download option heavily, you have come across the download orders page and would have spent time searching/finding the exact file ordered for download in the download folder. This functionality allows administrators to create a folder structure within the ZIP file.
