XM Cloud forms new accessibility standards supported

The recently released accessibility tool for XM Cloud forms enabled content editors to validate forms before publishing, in addition to the same following accessibility standards are now followed:

• Keyboard navigation
• Screen reader compatibility
• Form labels and instructions
• Error handling
• Input assistance - autocomplete
• ARIA attributes
• Responsiveness

XM Cloud improved site management

Continuing with the trend to improve self-service, XM Cloud now provides an option to configure error pages and other site host settings. This option allows content editors to add, update or change error pages as and when needed.

Enhanced AI assistant in Stream

As Sitecore continues to evolve and provide more AI capabilities, two new features aimed at increasing productivity were released this month.

• AI Orchestration – to manage projects and work more effectively using my day dashboard and project workspace for single-point access to information and tracking.
• Brand Assistant – to support more complex requests and tasks, the brand agent chat now enables content editors to create structured artifacts.

Two new improvements to update the implementation

XM Cloud – With the release of JSS 22.4, the axios dependency is now removed. These updates impact the API response structure, and thus, it is recommended to review the implementation for any potential impact.

Content Hub – Timeline for M.Target and M.JobDescription entity update has been postponed for 3 more weeks. Revised timeline below:

• February 10th, 2025 – changes activated on all non-production environments. Previously was January 20th, 2025.
• Between March 10 and March 21, 2025 – changes will be rolled out incrementally to customers. Recommended action to be taken by March 17th, 2025. Previously was between February 24th and March 7th, 2025.

Pro Tip – Test each condition in isolation as well before combining multiple conditions to ensure the composite condition behaves as expected.
